Head Teacher's Welcome

A very warm welcome to our website. At St Chad’s Church of England Primary and Nursery School we are very much an inclusive and welcoming school family. Our children are happy, polite and thrive in an environment where all are valued to reach their full potential. Our Christian values along with our high expectations for all underpin the calm and purposeful atmosphere within our school. We are proud to be a 'Flagship School' for inclusion and to be judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted and ‘Outstanding’ by SIAMS. Please read the reports to find out a little more about these judgements.

From our newly opened Nursery class through to Year 6, we ensure that every child has access to the very best learning journey and enrichment opportunities. Our Breakfast Club, which runs daily from 8am, offers families flexibility around the start of the day.   We also enjoy strong links with St Chad’s church and our local community.

Our website, along with our Facebook page, will give you a flavour of St Chad’s but please don’t hesitate to make an appointment to come and visit us, we would be delighted to show you around our school.
