St Chad's Church of England Primary and Nursery School

Welcome to our Year 4 class page!

Our teacher is Miss Adams and our brilliant teaching assistants are Mrs Appleton and Mrs Ellis.

Year 3 will start at 8:50am and finish at 3:10pm

This year, homework activities will be uploaded to Seesaw on a Friday to be completed the following Friday. Children will be given alternating pieces of Maths and English each week, and a set of spellings to learn ready to be tested on a Friday. Your child's login details for Seesaw will be included in their reading diaries, and if you have any trouble accessing this please do not hesitate to contact me.

Remember, you should also be aiming to read everyday so that children can reach the GOLD star on our star reader chart.  Additionally, don't forget to log into Timestable rockstars, and Spelling Shed using the links below. The logins for these apps will be included in your child's reading diary.

During the Autumn Term, PE will take place on Thursdays outside. Children will be required to come dressed in their PE kits on these days. As the weather can be unpredictable, please ensure that your child's kit is weather appropriate (A warm black or navy hoodie, a black or navy pair of jogging bottoms, a plain white polo t-shirt and black pumps or trainers).

Swimming will commence on Monday 6th September and run weekly throughout the Autumn term. Children will be expected to wear their swimming kit underneath their PE Kit ready for the sessions.

Please make sure your child has a named water bottle in school each day and that all clothing is clearly labelled.
