During Autumn Term we will be learning about the events of World War Two and how these affected children in Britain. We will be learning about evacuation;investigating and making air raid shelters; finding out about rationing and cooking seasonally at Weaver Farm; creating electric circuits; investigating light; learning about WW2 artists; making WW2 waistcoats.

Here are two of the books we will be reading during our English lessons.

This year, homework activities will be uploaded to Seesaw on a Tuesday to be completed the following Monday. Children will be given alternating pieces of Maths and English each week, and a set of spelling to learn.

Remember, you should also be aiming to read everyday and don't forget to log into Timestable rockstars, Mathletics and Spelling Shed using the links below.

Our PE lessons take place on Tuesday when the class will be taking part in Judo sessions. Children should wear their PE kit to school on Tuesdays. Please also make sure that your child has a water bottle in school. As we currently have a later lunch, it would also be helpful for them to bring in a healthy playtime snack or order a school snack on Monday for the week.
